- Responsible for the assembly, production and distribution of food and trays at scheduled meal times and for early or late tray delivery; and cleaning and sanitizing of equipment, utensils and physical environment of the food service department, including but not limited to dishroom, cafeteria, dining room, main kitchen, storage areas, and special event areas.
- Performs line service during meal hours and relieves in other areas as assigned to provide quality and courteous service to all customers.
- Distributes and modifies menus for each patient.
- Completes patient satisfaction survey.
- Checks message and updates changes in EMR.
- Checks refrigerator temperature.
- Answers phone calls in the diet office and kitchen.
- Responsible for assisting with the clerical and non-technical functions involved in the nutritional care of the patients.
- Performs other job tasks as assigned.
