Sr. Product Manager – Draeger Medical Systems, Inc. – Andover, MA

Draeger Medical Systems, Inc., Andover, MA seeks Sr. Product Managers – Owns the management of a complex product line including growth and positioning of the product line throughout the product life cycle for patient monitoring systems. Owns the development of a Product Roadmap and product related business planning for a complex product line. Responsible for market releases according to Product Lifecycle Management processes. Participating in cross-functional teams representing the product during the entire Product Lifecycle including usability and customer validation. Developing the product roadmap. Defining global product positioning. Working with marketing team in the creation of launch plans including marketing materials, customer presentations, etc. Lead product training of Field Teams and provide technical support to customers during pre- and post-sales activities. Co-lead of business Cross Functional Teams (along with PMO). Prepares and delivers product presentations to key constituencies including Executive Board Members and Customer Senior Management Teams. Effectively represent the Patient Monitoring portfolio and customer base on cross-business unit teams working internationally and dealing with different cultures specifically in developing markets. Managing product changes that have significant business impact according to the Product Management Lifecycle and Innovation processes working with software teams in an Agile environment. Analyzing data on global market and competition in support of product roadmap and corporate strategy to include the development and implementation of go to market strategies for a diverse and complex product portfolio for developed and developing global markets. Will travel 20% US and/or Int’l to meet w/current & potential customers & regional sales & marketing teams & with colleagues at headquarters in Germany.

Requires Bachelor’s (or foreign equiv.) Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Business or Medical/Clinical field and four (4) yrs. experience in Job Offered or related. Experience must have included: Experience in Sales or Marketing of Patient Monitoring Systems; working in an international role and dealing with different cultures specifically in developing markets; Development and implementation of go to market strategies for a diverse and complex product portfolio for developed and developing global markets; working in the acute care hospital environment in different countries to implement solutions that support workflows/processes; Providing technical support to customers during pre- and post-sales activities on topics including networking, systems administration, Windows Operating Systems, HL7 and Healthcare systems integration; and Experience working with software teams in an Agile environment.
