Major Duties
Under general supervision, the Director of Baseball Operations perform administrative tasks for the Baseball Program while helping to ensure compliance with NCAA, Conference, and University regulations. The incumbent attends all practices, competitions, events, etc. and provide administrative support, as necessary.

Prepares and coordinates correspondence, including e-mails, memos, official team schedules, practice schedules, schedule changes, game contracts, etc. based on information provided by the Head Coach.

Distributes correspondence to various departments and individuals, including student-athletes, coaches, and University and Athletics personnel.
Assists the Head Coach with the scheduling of meetings, practices, events, appearances, competitions, etc.—coordinates with donors, University personnel, Conference personnel, etc. and brings conflicts of scheduling issues to the Head Coach’s attention.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in a job-related field.
Equivalent to two (2) years of full-time, technical, analytical, or administrative experience.

Additional experience in job-related field may be substituted for required education, on a year for year basis.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Working knowledge of general practices, program, and/or administrative specialty and working knowledge of NCAA, Conference, and University regulations.
Ability and specialized skills to: interpret, and apply a wide variety of policies and procedures; perform basic research and statistical analysis; analyze data and make accurate projections using business mathematics and basic statistics.

Ability to compile, write and present reports related to program or administrative specialty; communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Proficient in using standard office and financial software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Classification: 1038 / Admin Analyst/Specialist
The anticipated HIRING RANGE: $3288 -$4250, dependent upon qualifications and experience. The salary range for this classification is: $3288 -$6347 per month.

HOURS: Full Time; 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday; may include evenings and weekends.
REG: This is a Regular position with a one-year probationary period.
