Geospatial Operator – T-O Engineers, Inc. – Cody, WY

T-O Engineers is seeking a Geospatial Operator to join our Cody team. This is an entry- to mid-level position that, with minimal direction, provides support for the creation, modification, and production of maps and databases through the use of GIS, Photogrammetry, and CAD softwares.

Depending on experience, this position may be filled at the GIS Project Manager level.

What You Bring to the Team: :

• 1-5 years of relevant experience

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Geography or a related field, with a minor in GIS

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the following:

• Proficiency in ESRI products, including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online; Collector; Survey 123; Workforce; Spatial Analyst; and 3D Analyst

• Familiarity with CAD and Remote Sensing software, including Civil 3D and Pix4D

• Ability to process imagery and classify point clouds from UAV data

• Knowledge of mapping standards for remote sensing datasets

• Strong technical writing and communication skills

• Knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures of cartography

• Intermediate skills working with python and model builder in GIS

• Thorough knowledge of coordinate systems and projections

• Finding and working with publicly available datasets

• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees, the public, and clients
