Starting pay ranges from $24 to $28 per hour based on previous work experience.

Our Maintenance Techs work 12-hour shifts, 8 am to 8 pm. The work schedule is 3 days on 3 days off.

The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for the following:

· Maintenance and repair of manufacturing machinery including but not limited to extrusion operations, slitters, pelletizers, and other related equipment

· Performs diagnostic testing, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment including wiring circuits, control devices, PLCs, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, power transmission, heating/cooling equipment, and hoists

· Fabricates using a band saw, drill press, acetylene torch, welding machine, lathe, milling machine, etc.

· Performs preventive maintenance tasks including lubrication, filter replacement and routine inspections

· Reads and understands equipment manuals, schematics, drawings, and wiring diagrams

· Works safely, identifies unsafe conditions and takes action to mitigate.

· Offer ideas for improving the performance of the operations

Required Skills and Experience:

· Minimum five (5) years of related experience in a manufacturing environment

· Must have multi –craft maintenance experience. Fabrication experience is a plus

· Strong mechanical aptitude, good mathematical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to operate forklift and man lift

· Associate degree in electrical or mechanical technology preferred
