A Swing shift Warehouse Supervisor job in Sacramento, CA, is available at Milgard Windows and Doors. You should have five to seven years of managerial experience in distribution and/or logistics. In this role, you will manage on-time shipping percentages and backorders. Plus overseeing the employees and loading operations. This role is a day shift position that typically starts at 5:00 AM, and salary is dependent on experience. Milgard Windows & Doors is the leading manufacturer of windows and doors in the Western United States with Washington, Oregon, and California operations. Milgard was recently acquired by MI Windows, creating additional growth and synergies between these two industry leaders.
Warehouse Supervisor job responsibilities include:
- Responsibility for the overall management of the location’s distribution operations to include assuring acceptable safety standards, quality, productivity, employee conduct, and performance
- Ensure the safety of personnel and compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations
- Manage on-time shipping percentages and backorders
- Oversee the warehousing and loading operations
- Effectively communicate with and develop employees while driving results.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with strong interpersonal skills
. Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Five plus years of managerial experience in distribution or logistics
- Inventory control experience
- Inventory control experience preferred
- The successful candidate will have proficiency in LEAN and process improvement technology.
- Computer Savvy and proficient with the MS Office Suite.
