Certified Medical Assistant- Growing Allergy Office – Allergy and Asthma Practice – Lake in the Hills, IL

*Weekend Commitment: Looking for someone who is willing to work some Saturdays.

*Interview and document patient information: medical history, purpose of visit, and vital signs including pulmonary function tests in timely manner.

*Report pertinent information to the physician and assist physician in providing care for patients.

* Monitor patients flow from check-in to check-out and make sure all patient needs are met.

*Prepare patients for and perform a variety of tests and treatments.

*Educate patients about medication and symptom management.

*Giving injections according to guidelines after thoroughly assessing patient’s physical status, medication use and stability to receive shot (any issue being brought to MDs attention before shot being given)

*Keep supplies ready by making sure all equipment and medications are available for MD and patients by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt as required by each office and charge personnel.

*Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance or calling for repairs.

* Attend staff training sessions and meetings, participate in educational opportunities

* Bilingual/Spanish speaking preferred but not required.

* We are searching for an applicant who is already vaccinated against COVID 19 or is willing to receive the vaccine due to our specialty.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour
