THIS JOB REQUIRES ENLISTMENT INTO THE UNTIED STATES ARMY.
As a Horizontal Construction Engineer you will operate heavy construction equipment like bulldozers, tractors, backhoes, cranes, excavators, and road graders to help pave the way for fellow Soldiers and to make room for construction projects. Without safe roads to travel, it’s hard for Soldiers to move around, especially in unfamiliar territory. You will also assist Army engineers to analyze construction site needs and transport heavy construction equipment from one site to another.
This job requires you to Enlist in the United States Army. It is considered an Entry Level position (no experience required). You must meet DoD requirements to join: Meet Age Requirements, Height and Weight Requirements, and the Medical and Moral Requirements. In addition, acquiring a passing score of 31 in the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery Test (ASVAB), which will be provided to you at no cost.
JOB DUTIES:
- Operate heavy construction equipment.
- Assist Engineers.
- Analyze construction sites needs.
- Transport heavy construction equipment.
TRAINING:
- Individuals who enlist as an Horizontal Construction Engineer you will attend 10 weeks of Basic Training, and 9 weeks of Advance Individual Training in which you will get hands-on training in order to learn all the necessary skills to be successful in this career.
- As a member of our team all costs of training will be covered, and you will receive your full time pay for the duration of your training.
