Test and Evaluation Engineer

Responsibilities:

The Test and Evaluation Engineer will track, audit, and manage T&E aspects of products/systems in the acquisition process. The T&E Engineer shall coordinate test and evaluation strategies, TEMPs, test concepts, test plans, and execution of T&E activities for assigned projects and programs. The T&E Engineer shall be able to effectively work with Army, Multi-service, Intra-agency, and OSD T&E organizations through WIPT. The engineer shall be able to develop a T&E IMS. The T&E Engineer shall lead and manage all client T&E activities.

  • Support client test activities, to include coordination of all test related certifications and evaluations such as interoperability; security; financial management and improvement; and other special test events, as required
  • Ensure alignment with the DoD 5000 Series
  • Develop/update Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP)
  • Support operational and interoperability test oversight activities
  • Support developmental test oversight activities
  • Assist with the planning, development, and execution of Test Event Plans
  • Assist in the planning, preparation, and conduct of Test Readiness Entrance and Exit Test Reviews
  • Assist with the development and delivery of test reporting products (e.g., reports, briefings, metrics, etc.)
  • Assist with the development, maintenance, updates, and staffing of the Integrated Master Plan and Integrated Master Schedules
  • Coordinate with other groups to develop schedules, prepare agendas/briefing slides, and prepare/distribute meeting minutes

Qualifications:

  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to plan strategically and recommend future requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical or scientific field
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in the test and evaluation of large-scale / enterprise-level information systems
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written) is highly recommended

Schedule:
