We’re seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our unique intake coordination team. This team is at the epicenter of our care delivery model — responsible for matching patient appointment requests to our national network of providers. This dedicated individual will join us at a time when more people than ever are seeking remote care options.
Job Functions
- Answer telephone calls and email requests from patients seeking therapy and psychiatric care
- Input patient information into our Referral Acceptance Management Platform (RAMP)
- Verify eligibility and insurance benefits, their specialty preferences, as well as collaborate with finance for any co-pay processing
- Scheduling appointment for patient with our national network of providers
- Answer patient questions from patients and providers on process and next steps
Qualifications & Skills
- Outstanding attention to detail and ability to maintain notes of interactions
- Electronic medical record and/or practice management software a plus
- Ability to effectively use computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Office and other cloud-based platforms
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, thrive in ambiguity, and prioritize tasks accordingly
- Strong collaborative skills
Requirements
- 1+ Year(s) Customer Service Experience
- 1+ Year(s) Medical Office Experience (Required)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 – $22.00 per hour
