The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for the delivery of quality nursing care for all patients on the In-patient and Outpatient units. The Nurse Supervisor has the authority to adjust staffing as necessary for the day, evening, night and weekend shifts. The Nurse Supervisor will oversee all unit activities including, but not limited to, admissions, discharges, crisis intervention, restraint and/or seclusion, Baker Acts, relieving for break or meals. The Nurse Supervisor manages the Mental Health Techs working on the unit as part of the nursing team, administers prescribed medications and provides medication for the nursing staff when the Pharmacy is closed. The Nurse Supervisor will coordinate all medical codes, whether real or mock, and ensure they are carried out appropriately and safely. The Nursing Supervisor has the authority to make staffing changes as necessary.

Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida.
- Requires five (5) years experience as a Registered Nurse. Prefer two (2) in psychiatric nursing. Knowledge of current nursing procedures, the nursing process, medications and their correct administration
