Desk Assistants (DAs) are the front line of safety in each community. They are the first face that residents, parents and campus guests see when they enter a residential area. It is vital that those who take on this position understand that customer service and safety are the first priorities of the position. Desk Assistants must remain behind the desk during their shift, check visitors in or out, answer questions, confirm any overnight guests, give out keys, and handle other situations that may arise at the desk.


Must be an enrolled student at USC Upstate in Fall 2021. Must be in good academic and conduct standing with the University and Housing and Residential Life. Semester and Cumulative minimum 2.0 GPA . Work-study preferred.
