Medical Receptionist – Prestige Primary Care – Dallas, TX

Prestige Primary Care is looking for a full-time Medical Receptionist to join our growing organization. We pride ourselves on excellent patient care and service. We provide comprehensive medical care along with in-office medical procedures using the latest technology. We are seeking candidates who have exceptional customer service skills, professional etiquette, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Professionally assist doctors, staff, visitors, and patients.
  • Verify patient contact information
  • Verify insurance eligibility
  • Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all doctor, staff, and patient information.
  • Schedule appointments
  • Adhere to policy and procedures during all activates.
  • Communicate medical results to patients under clinical supervision.
  • Complete accurate documentation of patient visits.

Qualities of ideal applicant:

  • Bachelors degree (advantageous).
  • Administration certification (essential).
  • 2 years of experience at a healthcare facility in a medical receptionist role (essential).
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, ICD, and CPT coding (highly advantageous).
  • Innovative thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and planning skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and react effectively to emergency situations.
  • Ability to use discretion while working with sensitive information.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and IT skills.
  • Passionate about healthcare excellence.

License, Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures and diagnosis
  • Knowledge of computer and relevant software applications
  • Knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures
  • Working knowledge of healthcare insurance preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $12.00 – $18.00 per hour

Schedule:
