Associate Attorney – Illinois Litigation – Kohn Law Firm S.C. – Milwaukee, WI

Overview

Kohn Law Firm S.C. is a nationally recognized collection firm based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin that handles debt collection and litigation in Wisconsin and Illinois.

We are currently seeking an Associate Attorney to work with our office in Milwaukee and litigate cases in Illinois. The position would preferably be headquartered in our Milwaukee office, but a remote-work arrangement is an option for the right candidate.

Responsibilities and Requirements

The Associate Attorney will be responsible for seeing accounts through the full litigation cycle including the review of account-level documentation; reviewing and approving pleadings; and handling routine court appearances.

Experience in collections and commercial litigation is a plus, and will be considered in compensation, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Illinois on or before the date of hire. However, applicants that are not yet licensed in Illinois or are new graduates with pending bar results are welcome to apply provided they can obtain the required Illinois license.

Compensation and Benefits
