Job Overview: Video Processor Modules- Lead Engineer 3

Core Responsibilities

• DRE for Video Processing Module including all elements of hardware and software.
• DRE for Calibrations within the viewing space executing the viewing features within other GM controllers.
• Communicates information to and from internal and external customer organizations
• Coordinates and consults with departments outside engineering, such as manufacturing
• Leads resolution of technical issues
• Leads product development team meetings
• Supports vehicle Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) activities.
• Knowledge of hardware and software interfaces
• Communicates information to and from internal and external customer organizations
• Coordinates and consults with departments outside engineering, such as manufacturing

Requirements:

• Must be organized with calibration and releases, good communicator
• Must have experience/skillset: Release experience or knowledge around releasing parts into production, calibration experiences, good communication/writing skills
• Personality type for this role: Process driven and be willing to drive new fresh ideas towards efficiencies.
• Engineering Change Request experience / CAN Network tools, e-spy, vector, intrepid tool experience is a PLUS.
• Employees in this role will be remote and only need to come to Milford/Warren when necessary to complete a testing
• Need to have release experience, or production release, electronics production release, don’t have to have electrical release background, can have mechanical production release, know DRE
• Willing to have 3 years relatable experience (lead experience) (calibrations), software or hardware release

Education:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
