The responsibilities of the Counsel will include working closely with legal and business teams to review, analyze, draft, revise and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, with a focus on:

Essential Functions

  • Review, analyze, draft, revise, and negotiate contracts

  • Apply formal, best practice methodologies to develop and implement contract strategies to support the sales and account management processes

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to carefully obtain the requirements needed for each contract

  • Communicate and manage workflow of all contract stages

  • Implement practical contracts procedures

EXPERTISE

The following expertise is required:

Qualifications

  • At least three years of intensive experience with software and software-as-a-service agreements.

  • All-star writing skills and ability to clearly, concisely and precisely communicate in plain English.

  • Stellar analytical skills and ability to independently, pragmatically and creatively resolve key issues.

  • Able to multi-task and demonstrated organizational, detail orientation, prioritization skills and time management skills to ensure that work related activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team oriented, high demand and fast-paced environment.

  • Positive attitude and even temperament.

  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and work with highly sensitive data and information.

  • Solid communication skills to effectively deal with various levels of management, staff and outside contacts.

  • Effective listening skills to ensure understanding of instructions and directions and effectively communicate progress and problems to co-workers and management.

  • Ability to analyze, summarize and address contractual requirements in requests for proposals

The salary range for this role is $130K – $160K annually. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
