Administrative Specialist II – State of South Carolina – Laurens County, SC

The purpose of this position is to assist the Food Service Director by preparing time and leave reports, preparing correspondence, maintaining accurate files and records, assisting in the preparation of financial reports and other documentation as needed.

1. Maintains accurate time, leave reports, Position Descriptions, EPMS, and P-40’s on approximately 30-35 staff. Maintains Food Service files on share drive.
2. Manages the tray card system.
3. Prepares Food Service monthly financial, meal, and meals gone from unit reports. Prepares Gordon summary sheets and invoices for processing. Purchases supplies from Grove Medical upon request.
4. Manages information for records. Provides copies of between snacks.
5. Maintains monthly expenditures of State Credit Card.
6. Conducts quarterly diet card reconciliation, as directed by Dietician. Maintains files, and shreds documentation per departmental policy.
7. Maintains cohesive and production line from Food Services with other departments and/or personnel such as dietician, HRM, Finance, Supply, Maintenance, and individual units.
8. Completes all duties by end of shift, as assigned by Food Service Director.

A high school diploma or GED, and two years clerical experience. Ability to read, write, and follow both written and oral instructions. Related clerical experience may be substituted for high school diploma.
