What you will be doing:

  • Support planning and organization of workflow against a company calendar including product and campaign launches.
  • Execute overall organizational and departmental goals to ensure digital content is scheduled and implemented to hit the stated goals and KPIs
  • Support online product advertising and sales through all digital channels including social media, display, video,
  • Analyze/Report on online advertising performance from overall ROI to individual creative performance.
  • Coordinate online campaigns and support execution and ideation of all social media and other content calendars through all digital channels including social media, display, video, mobile, email, search, shopping, marketplaces and on-site
  • Use digital analytics and ranking software to advise and make decisions on paid and organic efforts
  • Utilize a shared online content creation and workflow system to collaborate with team members creating content
  • Utilize WordPress to update website content, executing strategy with approved content, across company owned sites
  • Manage content within the digital department as well as facilitate content creation cross-functionally with internal departments and outside agencies
  • Foster the content process through ideation, creation and go live, working with team members in other disciplines to achieve desired and timely results, executing consumer facing content to drive sales and create awareness
  • Provide research and ideation regarding ways to approach potential consumer target audiences
  • Perform frequent market research and competitive analysis to assist in determining new digital marketing strategies.
  • Advise team members on new trends in the digital space including those which may affect consumer purchasing patterns, or provide solutions to our marketing approaches in the digital sphere
  • Provide editorial, creative and technical support to team members
  • Manage, upload, implement and execute content for web, PPC, social media, affiliate, email, SEO
  • Ensure content cohesion between English and Spanish assets, while working with others internally, for culturally appropriate pages and content
  • Identify, track and report on KPIs while ideating solutions to optimize content and campaigns through all channels, in association with other departmental team members
  • Aid in coordinating and supporting external vendor relationships and digital agency partners
  • Cross train to support existing digital team members (i.e. Marketplace Amazon, Walmart, Ebay, etc.) and share knowledge of the Digital Marketing Specialist role with others


What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Digital, Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of professional work experience in marketing departments and within digital teams
  • 3-5 years of experience managing content within a digital environment
  • Strong background working in a high budget Direct to Consumer CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) ecommerce environment preferred
  • Experience administering content for SEO, PPC, Social Media, Email, Website & Product Detail Pages
  • Experience with planning, management, execution and measurement of all forms of digital media: search, social, display, video, mobile, and email
  • Experience executing/placing ads and/or reporting on the following technologies: Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Search Console, Microsoft Ads, Facebook Ads Manager & Facebook Business Manager
  • Experience collaborating with content development teams for advertising and marketing use
  • Experience collaborating with external agencies and consultants
  • Experience collaborating in the website design process
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), including WordPress within a high transaction environment is a must
  • Experience using the following technologies: SEM Rush, Sprout, Sellics, Dotdigital, and YotPo are a plus
  • Abilities to use: WordPress, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads & Business Manager, Google AdWords, Google Search Marketing Services. Knowledge of SEM Rush, Sprout, Sellics, Dotdigital, YotPo, or similar technologies is a plus
  • Familiar with digital asset management (DAM) applications and/or digital asset storage processes
  • Familiarity with Shopify, Magento or similar technologies
