PM Dispatch Clerk – Dependable Supply Chain Services – Los Angeles, CA

Dependable Highway Express (DHE), a large transportation company, seeks a PM Dispatch Clerk to work in our LTL Division at our Los Angeles Service Center. Dependable is a stable and rapidly expanding Trucking and Warehousing company with long roots in Los Angeles Transportation. We are looking for a positive attitude and a team player.

Job Function:

PM Driver Check In Clerk will assist department staff to maximize customer service through effective dispatch and driver coordination

Job Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry
  • Assist dispatch with communicating work assignments to Linehaul drivers
  • Complete and maintain spreadsheets

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of U.S. geography
  • Experience dealing with Truckload Carries
  • Able to multitask and to provide support
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Regional Transportation Industry knowledge or equivalent preferred
  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
  • Willingness to be cross-trained in other departments such as dispatch
  • High School Diploma or higher a plus
  • Able to work 40+ hours a week

Compensation / Benefits:
