Join our Ascension SE Michigan team as a Compliance Specialist with our Ambulatory Service Lines. This is a full time position with flexibility to work partially remote and some travel to our SE Michigan locations. Monday through Friday schedule that offers flexibility.

What You Will Do:
Develop and oversee activities designed to promote regulatory compliance and continual survey readiness.
- Stay informed of regulatory/standards changes and interpret applicability of changes across patient care, ancillary and general departments.
- Ensure readiness at all organizational levels for regulatory changes and apply innovative methods for implementation.
- Guide action plan development, performance monitoring and reporting when deficiencies are identified.
- Collaborate on identifying best practices and streamline survey preparation.
- Serve as primary regulatory compliance support for both complex and routine operations and administrative issues.
What You Will Need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing preferred.
- Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the Michigan Board of Physical Therapy preferred.
- Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) credentialed from the Michigan Board of Occupational Therapists preferred.
Education:
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree required.
Work Experience:
- 3 years of experience preferred.
Additional Preferences:
- Clinical healthcare experience preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of health-care compliance and policies and procedures.
