American Eyecare is seeking a part-time Eye Care Technician / Receptionist
Job Duties
- Greeting patients
- Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
- Filing patient information
- Taking payments
- Perform examination pretesting
- Train patients how to use their contact lenses
- Work with patients to find correct eyewear
- Dispense and adjust eyewear
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, bright, and detail-oriented
- Strong technical ability
- Medical assistance experience is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of optical office practices is helpful
- Excellent phone presence and customer service skills
- Strong organizational abilities
- Knowledge of computer systems
- Willingness to work in a team environment
Experience preferred but not required. Time management and leadership skills are a plus.
