Administrative Policy Development Specialist – Vios Fertility Institute – Chicago, IL

Position Overview
The Administrative Policy Development Specialist is responsible for reviewing, documenting, updating, and maintaining all non-clinical policies and procedures to staff. They will be responsible for the creation and management of online lessons to assist with learning and development of all Standard Operating Procedures. They will also participate in the planning and policy development for non-clinical Standard Operating Procedures.

Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Applies specialist knowledge in evaluating existing policies
  • Catalogs and examines internal non-clinical Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs)
  • Determines if policies and procedures are aligned with states goals and objectives of the company
  • Identifies benefits, disadvantages, and omissions in existing policy framework
  • Project manages the development and revision process of SOPs within the administrative team
  • Amends, automates, and implements work flow charts
  • Facilitates educational sessions both in-person and via web conference to discuss updates and train staff on SOPs
  • Develops and coordinates an administrative training plan for new employees alongside management and global team members
  • Creates and manages online training lessons to assist with learning and development of all SOPs
  • Ensures that the non-clinical policies and procedures are not contradictory to any departmental or company guideline or objective

Qualities & Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in analyzing policies

Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to collaborate with administrative departments and executive team members
  • Excellent recordkeeping and communication skills
  • Superior composition and editing abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong leadership and training skills
  • Independent worker
  • Experience with Lessonly is a plus

Position Details

  • Full time position (30-40 hours/week)
  • Travel may be required to Chicagoland locations (Crest Hill, Wicker Park, West Loop, Hoffman Estates, Glenview, and Aurora) for meetings, trainings, or coverage
  • Occasional weekend work required
  • Compensation based on years of experience
