Superintendent – Bridgewater Homes, LLC – Omaha, NE

Bridgewater Homes is currently looking for a Superintendent. The right candidate’s primary responsibility is to manage all functions of the job site as it relates to home construction. The Superintendent manages the construction of multiple homes from permit to closing by scheduling and supervising job site subcontractors and inspections while maintaining company construction and safety standards.

Superintendents supervise all on-site construction, including scheduling subcontractors, resolving day-to-day problems on the job site, and inspecting all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule, coordinate, supervise and inspect the activities of subcontractors and vendors
  • Walk and inspect construction sites daily to verify specifications and deadlines are met
  • Inspect all stages of construction
  • Ensure homes are completed prior to Homebuyer Orientation Walk and scheduled closing date
  • Verify delivery of materials to construction sites; communicate delivery issues to Purchasing Team or Subcontractor
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Schedule municipal inspections and interact with inspectors
  • Maintain community, construction sites, inventory, and model homes to be sales presentation ready

Required Qualifications

  • 4-year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in scheduling, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of residential construction
  • A thorough knowledge of all trades and construction practices
  • Ability to utilize scheduling applications on a smart phone, tablet, or laptop
  • Strong organizational and people skills
  • Must have a vehicle capable of carrying supplies, valid driver’s license and be willing to drive among designated communities in daytime and nighttime
