Lawn Care Laborer Needed for a family-owned, employee-focused environment to work in. You must be a hard worker. Must have the physical ability to do the job. Must be close to the Hilton Head Island, SC area. You MUST HAVE a valid and clean driver’s license and have your own reliable transportation to get to work EVERY day. You must be professional. At least 3 yr of experience is required. We are looking for someone who is going to be here for the long term and not just here for a week or two. We want someone who is going to grow with the company.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Performs landscape maintenance duties such as mowing, fertilizer application, weed control, aeration, trimming, and pruning.
- Operates a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to bed edgers, commercial mowers, blowers, dump trailers, chainsaws, line trimmers, and tillers.
- Addresses clients’ questions, comments, and concerns or refers clients to the Team Leader as appropriate.
- Applies chemicals under the direction of a licensed applicator, and with all required protective equipment.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Must go on whatever crew you are assigned and this may change as the need arises. You work for the company not just your crew.
Qualifications:
MUST HAVE PREVIOUS VERIFIABLE EXPERIENCE.
- Absolutely No drugs.
- Must be on time.
- Must dress appropriately.
- Must have your own reliable transportation to work EVERY DAY.
- Must have experience.
- Must be able to provide three (3) professional references (along with contact information, length of time you have know reference and what your relationship is with the reference).
- Full-time, Year-Round Position.
The work schedule is typically Monday through Friday except where noted above. The company is established with year-round work. Good starting pay commensurate with experience. 401k opportunity after 1 year, medical benefits with company contribution after 60 days of employment, paid holidays and vacation time after 90 days and supplemental benefits at a discounted rate.
