Welder – Hill Laboratories Co. – Malvern, PA

We are seeking a WELDER NEEDED FOR MEDICAL DEVICES to become an integral part of our team! The Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble medical devices for powder coating and assembly.

SALARY BASED UPON EXPERIENCE

STARTING PAY $16-$17/hour

90 Day Review with increase.

Stable and growing manufacturing company seeks additional welder to assist in production of medical tables. Daily tasks will include inventory duties, reading prints, pulling and grinding parts to prepare for welding, MIG & TIG welding, utilizing jigs and fixtures for bench top welding and operation of robotic welders. Interview will be accompanied by a hands-on test.

Hours: Full-time / 40 hours/week

Overtime & Saturday shift when needed.

Employees that are assigned to the Welding Department are responsible for the following: Duties Include:

  • Minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Overtime including Saturdays when required by Management.
  • MIG / TIG welding experience
  • Operate Robotic Welders
  • Must show stellar attendance and have reliable transportation.
  • Follow company policies and process stated in the Employee Manual and SOP (Quality System).
  • Drive continuous investigation and communication for improvement in safety, quality and productivity in the manufacturing process.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Weld any parts assigned by Management using recommended process per specifications of the Engineering Department.
  • Collect material for job assignments per BOM and/or prints from inventory.
  • Control inventory, materials, parts and supplies for reordering in a timely manner.
  • Keep area and equipment clean and safe for proper functionality per OSHA requirements and preventive machine maintenance schedules .
  • Must have the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, push and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of approximately up to 50 pounds.
  • Abide by the recommended personal protective equipment (PP/E)
  • Prepare parts for paint by removing any particulates, non-conforming welds and/or spatter by recommended process.
  • Working with Management on prototypes and jigs.
  • Reporting nonconforming parts or process to Department Manager for corrective action by Quality Board.
  • Secondary assignments in any department to assist in production as needed.

Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour
