Front Office Receptionist/Patient Care Coordinator (FT)
We are looking to hire a reliable and motivated individual for a full time position at our dynamic Physical Therapy practice. Responsibilities and Duties
- Scheduling patients, both by phone and walk-ins
- Emailing new patient packets to newly scheduled patients, or directing them to company website to print
- Collecting co-pays, co-insurances and any other payments due
- Verifying and communicating patient insurance benefits
- Obtaining and monitoring insurance authorizations
- Checking Motor Vehicle/Worker’s Compensation Claims
- Following Medicare and HIPAA guidelines
- Maintaining medical records and files
- Date Entry and Reviewing patient paperwork to ensure accuracy
- Maintaining Referral and Waitlist
- Laundry and light cleaning, maintaining a tidy reception area
- Must be available to work 32 hrs. per week. M-F, with varied schedule. TBD
Qualifications and Skills
- High school or equivalent
- Valid Oregon drivers license & reliable transportation
- Prefer 1-2 years of relevant work experience, but not required
- Very reliable and dependable, this is a must
- The ability to multi-task with a calm and professional demeanor
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
