ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The full-time Neuropsychologist will be responsible for conducting brief and comprehensive neuropsychological, cognitive, and psychological evaluations with a variety of individuals, ages 16 to 90s. Common issues include memory decline, disorders of aging, dementias, traumatic brain injury, stroke, medical compromise, medication impact, ADD/ADHD, learning disability, and psychological overlay. He/She will supervise test administration and scoring by a Neuropsychological Technician and be personally responsible for test administration and scoring on an as-needed basis, report writing, conferring with referral sources as needed, and conducting feedback sessions. He/She will also be responsible for reviewing provided records, conducting clinical and collateral interviews, tracking hours/time for insurance purposes, and completing charge slips for insurance submission.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-Accredited University
APA- or APPIC-Accredited Predoctoral Internship
APA- or APPIC-Accredited Postdoctoral Fellowship in Neuropsychology
Report Writing Skills
Ability to Work Autonomously
Comfort in Utilizing Office365/OneDrive and Microsoft Office Products
PREFERRED SKILLS
Specialization in Neuropsychology during Education and/or Internship Preferred
2-3 years of Experience in Hospital or Rehabilitation Setting Preferred
Already on Several Insurance Panels Preferred (e.g., BCBS, TriCare, Medicare, etc.)
