The Charlton School is a small, clinically focused, therapeutic residential and day NYS approved 853 school for students in grades 8-12. The Charlton School mission centers around helping students become emotionally healthy, socially well-adjusted individuals who are able to achieve their highest level of individual independence. Immediate Openings for Overnight Youth Care Worker
Major Duties:
- Responsible for awake overnight supervision/safety of students in residential dorm setting
- Teaching/modeling skills in relationship development, emotional regulation, social attunement, problem solving, effective daily living
- Morning routine structure
- Housekeeping duties
Work Schedule:
- 40 hrs/Week over 5 consecutive days
- 12mid-8:00am
- Available Shift Days: negotiable
- Salary/Benefits:
- $15.27/hr ($31,761.00 annual base) plus $.75/hour shift differential for hours worked overnight
- Medical/Dental insurance package. Cost shared between employer/employee
- 4 weeks paid vacation
Criteria:
- Previous successful employment experience working awake overnight shift required.
- Associates degree preferred
- NYS Driver’s license required
