About The Role
Love 2 Learn is now hiring aspiring and experienced Behavior Interventionists (BIs) who provide essential services to infants, toddlers, children, teens and/or adults either at risk of a developmental delay or have a diagnosis in their home, school, and/or community. If you are reliable, relational, ethical, committed to excellence and have a passion for enriching the lives of others this could be a great position for you.
What You’ll Do
- Paid robust onboarding and ongoing training
- Direct care intervention with clients (i.e., teach communication skills, play skills, social skills, life skills, and reduce maladaptive behaviors)
- Supervision from professionals (e.g., BCBA, ST, OT, LCSW)
- Growth and refinement in your clinical skills
- Documentation of services provided
- Support and mentorship from the entire L2L team
About You
- High school diploma and 6 months experience minimum with people on the autism spectrum and/or other related developmental disabilities is required or
- Associate degree or two years relevant college credit and 5 years exposure to people on the autism spectrum and/or other related developmental disabilities preferred or
- Bachelor’s degree (early childhood, psychology, education or related field) and 1 year experience/exposure with people on the autism spectrum and/or other related developmental disabilities preferred and
- Demonstrate good judgment and decision making
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience working in a team environment and comfortable working independently
- Full Immunization Record, which includes a recent TB Test paid for by L2L if needed
- CPR (Basic Life Support Specific)
- Valid California Driver’s License and Auto Insurance
