Job Summary:
Redbird Bioscience is looking to hire an experienced Maintenance Electrician to support our Stilwell, OK. facility. In this position you will be required to conduct general preventative maintenance inspections, perform routine electrical repair maintenance, respond to faults and wiring issues, and install new electrical equipment for the facility.
To ensure success as a Maintenance Electrician, applicants should have high-level problem-solving skills, experience working with industrial electrical systems including HVAC controls and operation, PLC’s and the ability to read electrical schematics.
Maintenance Electrician Responsibilities:
- Routine inspection of electrical systems such as wiring, lighting fixtures and general equipment.
- Troubleshooting system failures. Identifying faults and hazards.
- Testing of electrical systems with oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and ohmmeters.
- Conduct electrical and mechanical repairs as needed on plant equipment.
- Installation of new electrical requirements for the facility, i.e. equipment and process improvements.
- Adherence to safety and NEC electrical standards and codes.
Maintenance Electrician Requirements:
- High school diploma required; Associates degree preferred
- Minimum requirement of an Industrial Electrical Certification.
- Minimum of 5 years’ work experience as a Maintenance Electrician.
- Understanding of industrial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code.
- Good communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Basic general computer skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20,001.00 – $51,000.00 per year
