Based in St. Louis, Provision Living currently operates 18 senior living communities in Missouri (Oak Pointe), Michigan, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Ohio, serving nearly 1,000 older adults.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administer prescribed medications to Elders, maintain medical records under direct supervision of the lead staff/nurse on duty

(free L1MA certification training provided)

  • Take vital signs, observe Elders, observe side effects of medications, and notify designated personnel of reaction
  • Provide direct Elder care, such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and assisting in examination and treatments
  • Promptly respond to the Emergency call system to assist Elders
  • Always follow the Resident Rights, Medication Administration, and HIPAA
  • Assist with all aspects of medication administration

Be able to lift/move up to 50lbs with/without assistance, bend, stand, operate equipment

Qualifications*

  • High School Diploma or GED, required
  • 1-2 years of previous experience caring for the elderly strongly welcomed!
  • CNA, CMT, L1MA Certification, preferred (on the job training with increased pay)
  • CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, preferred (on the job training available)
  • Patience and compassion for our Elderly, required
  • Ability to* remain calm and collected during difficult situations*
  • Respect for* Resident Rights and HIPAA, required*
  • Promote excellent customer service with our Elders, Teammates, and their families
  • Proficient with basic math skills
