The Manager, Product Analytics will be responsible for surfacing actionable data-driven insights to drive strategy for financial products offered by Jackson Hewitt, partnering closely with the Director of Analytics. This is a highly visible role that will require collaboration with the Head of Financial Products and is instrumental to overall business success.

What you’ll do here:

  • Develop analytical frameworks and financial models to optimize profitability for financial products, including loans, debit cards, and other products offered by Jackson Hewitt.
  • Leverage strong aptitude for data and insights to identify new opportunities to attract clients, increase sales and optimize product performance.
  • Lead analysis for department’s strategic initiatives and present findings and recommendations. This requires a deep aptitude for numbers and the ability to distill complex business problems and product strategies.
  • Analyze consumer and financial performance data to identify trends and opportunities; develop actionable strategies to drive business outcomes.
  • Develop and manage financial product forecasts and reporting. Measure performance against plans, track performance indicators, and monitor trends.
  • Drive delivery of high-impact analytical and strategic projects in partnership with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Field Operations, Technology, Finance, and Legal.


Skills & attributes you’ll bring for success:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative field (e.g., math, statistics, economics or engineering) or other demonstrations of quantitative aptitude.
  • 3-5 years of experience in consulting, banking, finance or analytics in a financial services organization.
  • High degree of comfort with financial modeling, forecasting trends, scenario analysis, working with large volume of data, and building analyses from the ground up.
  • Hands-on experience working with user and product data to derive actionable insights.
  • Experience with SQL; QlikView/QlikSense a plus. Experience with MS Excel.
  • Programming experience in other languages (e.g. SAS, R, Python, Stata, etc.) a plus.
  • Strong quantitative, problem-solving, and analytical mindset
  • Ability to distill complex business issues, diagnose root causes, and execute strategies to validate and resolve underlying problems.
  • Intellectual curiosity– thinks beyond the task at hand to solve bigger problems and drive meaningful business outcomes. Can quickly recognize the “so what” of a problem
