We are a contract metal manufacturer that has contracts in the fields of IT, Aviation, Medical, Farm and Recreational Equipment, and Government. We are adding talent to our team to support an increase in our business demand which opened many new positions within our company!
What will it be like to work at AL?
The Material Handler position is responsible to manage the overall WIP, inventory, storage, tools, location, and bill or materials issuance to ensure work centers have the correct material delivered to their areas in a timely manner to meet production needs.
Some things you would be doing at AL:
- Operate Forklift
- Transact WIP and inventoried items to/from work center
- Identify racking locations and clearances
- Identify and procure containers to maximize space utilization both in racking and at work station as needed
- Work with scheduling to develop a means of queuing up work orders for the various work centers
- Update the computer database when completing each move of material
- Ability to process completions on a work order using MIE PRO
- Pull and stage parts for jobs with correct quantities
What hours will I work?
Our full-time, weekend shift is Friday-Sunday 5:45am-6:15pm
