Kapi Restoration is seeking a Project Manager/ Estimator to join our Team! We are currently expanding our companies services and will need help to manage the additional workload.
The role of the estimator/project manager in our organization is to scope and write mitigation and structure estimates, plan, execute, communicate, document, and finalize insurance structure repair projects within budget.
The Project Manager/ Estimator must have a comprehensive understanding of remodeling and the insurance restoration industry. Candidates must also be knowledgeable of and adhere to local building codes and regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Scope all losses and write accurate and thorough mitigation estimates (based on tick sheets and in the field observations).
- Scope all losses and write accurate and thorough structure repair estimates.
- Gather all sub bids needed for estimates
- Document estimate processes in notes with conversations with adjusters, homeowners, and subcontractors.
- Direct and manage projects from start to finish and create a schedule.
- Effectively communicate with all customers, team members, and subcontractors in a timely manner to provide updates and other key information.
- Note project files off ALL activity on the file.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel, and contractors.
- Deliver progress reports to management and update job relationship databases.
- Draft and submit budget proposals.
- Work with team members while building relationships with clients and employees.
- All project managers serve on a on-call rotation to respond to after hour emergencies.
- Strong xactimate estimating skills is a plus, but not required.
- Track project milestones and deliverable’s
- Ability to manage multiple projects while shifting priorities, demands, & timelines.

Education or Equivalent Experience:
- 3-4+ years of Estimating in the insurance restoration industry.
- 3-4+ years of Project Management/Project Coordination in the insurance restoration industry.
- Knowledge of emergency water mitigation
