We have opportunities available for a part-time SLP in Dutchess Counry, NY. Position available to CCC-SLPs to work with an amazing team and broad range of patients prior to their return to the community.
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to:
- Collaborate with the team of PT/OT, nurses, physicians & dietary to meet the comprehensive needs of the residents in the facility
- Provide short team rehabilitation geared toward functional return home
- Provide restorative therapy to improve the quality of life of the long-term residents in the facility
- Interact with families and nursing staff on patients’ after-care programs
- Function under the Patient Driven Payment Model Reimbursement System
- Observe in the administration of on-site FEES testing for patients with swallowing disorders

Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) therapy program
- Current State licensure
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Goal oriented approach with ability to utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to utilize technology to perform electronic documentation
