We have an exciting opportunity for high-performing, pro-active individual to join our Marketing team as Marketing Manager for North America.

Based in either New York or Los Angeles, the Marketing Manager – North America is accountable for leading a dynamic approach to Farrow & Ball’s marketing plans for North America; developing and executing the brand strategies, marketing campaigns and initiatives relevant to the local market. Reporting directly into the Marketing & Communications Director (UK based) you will ensure all marketing activities are adapted to the market and work closely with the President of the North American company in driving business objectives.

Your key responsibilities as Marketing Manager – North America:

Marketing Programme Delivery

  • Elevating awareness of Farrow & Ball with targeted décor consumers across North America
  • Managing the balance between execution of global plans and local development and implementation
  • Working with our global brand team to deliver consistent marketing messaging across all relevant channels
  • Ensuring high standards for all things created for the brand which our customers and consumers will experience

Agency Management

  • Managing the press agency to secure consistent, strategic and on-brand editorial coverage across key digital and print outlets
  • Developing our North American social channels with the social agency to proactively build awareness and authority in décor and lifestyle
  • Recognising and developing content creation opportunities with partners and influencers to drive customer acquisition and engagement

Market and Commercial Engagement

  • Supporting our showrooms to encourage footfall and sales development in retail and design centre locations
  • Supporting business development through key stockists with appropriate tactics to support sales
  • Monitoring customer, market and competitor activity in the décor industry
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement through evaluating results
  • Ensuring programmes are developed and delivered to budget

Your key attributes as Marketing Manager – North America:

  • Demonstrable marketing experience across multiple channels
  • Solid understanding of digital and social media landscape with experience of managing Social Media channels
  • Insights driven decision making – combining quantitative and qualitative data to form strategies and inform decision making
  • Prior experience of working with Interior Designers would be beneficial and desired, however not a necessity
  • Innovative problem-solving skills, you are results focused and creatively driven
  • Ability to develop effective relationships and work cross-functionally
  • Capable of handling stakeholders of all levels
  • Ability to adapt to working in an ever-changing, multi-cultural environment
  • Proactive and able to perform well under tight deadlines
