Operations Support Officer J2X – General Dynamics Information Technology – Chantilly, VA

Operational Support Officers directly support the SOJTF-A J2X Counterintelligence (CI) and Human Intelligence (HUMINT) branch supporting CI and HUMINT activities. Supports SOJTF-A J2X in its oversight and
management of all SOJTF-A operational reporting in the Global Controlled Operations Management System (GCOMS). Operational Support Officers provide high quality editing and formatting for all operational reports and advice to the USG on interagency coordination.

Provides analytical and support to projects involving training, tactical/operational documentation, military systems design or other efforts requiring military operations expertise.

Researches, identifies, and makes recommendations about resources required for task execution and completion.

Gathers, processes, and analyzes operational data.

Assists with the testing and development of new systems or updates to existing systems to meet client needs.

Identifies and recommends emergent relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes.

Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.

Writes and updates project documentation including system procedures, presentations, and training materials.

May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts.

QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience

a. A minimum of Three (3) years’ of operational experience in Human Intelligence (HUMINT) or
related activities.
b. Possess a Counterintelligence Scope polygraph within last five years.
c. Possess graduate level English writing and editing skills.
d. Knowledgeable on the Global Controlled Operations Management System (GCOMS) and
Interagency coordination.
e. Knowledge of intelligence oversight and security guidelines.

f. Possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

g. Willing to deploy to an austere living and working environment performing 12 hour work days, 7 days a week

h. Attend CRC and ability to pass the latest CENTCOM Mod Medical standards

i. Ability to obtain and maintain and Afghanistan Visa
