The BBH Charge RN plans, directs, and evaluates nursing care and functions during an assigned shift. Coordinates the activities of the unit and directs, organizes, and assigns work to the nursing staff to ensure optimal flow and utilization of resources to meet demand for services with available staff. Addresses patient care or service problems as necessary. Clinically competent for patient populations served.


Qualifications:

  • Current, valid licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Washington required.
  • CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work.
  • Four years clinical experience in a long-term care/nursing home or acute care setting required.
  • Demonstrated skill in prioritizing the demands of daily operations and organizing required resources.

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, or current enrollment in a Bachelors degree program, preferred. Experience in HIV/AIDS nursing preferred. Experience in a lead/charge capacity desirable.
