Senior Escrow Administrator – PenFed Credit Union – Frisco, TX

PenFed is hiring a Senior Escrow Administrator at our Frisco, Texas location. The primary purpose of this role is to process all escrow account functions in a timely and accurate manner. The scope of duties may include all functions related PenFed Member’s loans – whether escrowed or not. Specific duties, as assigned, may include monitoring and maintaining accurate escrow account, processing payments for Insurance and/or Taxes as needed and strict adherence to regulatory and contractual guidelines, due dates, and requirements. This position will be responsible for providing responses in a professional, accurate, and timely manner to both internal parties and often Members directly

  • Provide prioritization and guidance to team regarding escrow related inquiries.
  • Approve escrow requests within level of authority.
  • Work across functions ensuring collaboration of shared goals.
  • Interact directly with supervisor/manager about strategy development and execution planning.
  • Measure and Report goal results and key performance indicators via scorecards.
  • Process and/or oversee completion of escrow related payments.
  • Produce accurate escrow analyses and generate within regulatory guidelines.
  • Communicate with manager/supervisor to create process improvements.
  • Provide assistance to members with complex or escalated escrow inquires.
  • Manage and complete all tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Research and resolve escrow issues to completion.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of PenFed mortgage servicing policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in all escrow related regulations and servicing system functionality and reports.
  • Provide training and guidance for PenFed employees as required.
  • Partner with vendors as needed.
  • Complete projects and audits as assigned by supervisor/manager.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of federal, state, county or city, investor, insurer and internal laws, policies and procedures regarding mortgage loan servicing.
  • Meet established standards and guidelines regarding compliance, job knowledge, quality attendance, punctuality, efficiency, initiative, member experience and overall performance.
  • Possess a good working knowledge of servicing guidelines and regulatory requirements established under RESPA and implemented through CFPB and PenFed.
  • Thorough understanding all PenFed loan products and programs, loan transaction history, including payment activity, escrow disbursements, rate and P&I payment changes, and payment reversals.

Qualifications:


Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field and/or experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfactorily perform essential role functions.
  • Minimum of four (4) years in a financial institution with exposure to mortgage residential lending; mortgage servicing experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, regulatory, agency, investor, state, county, city, Pentagon Federal Credit Union and/or additional laws or guidelines is highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, with an ability to review complex issues and make sound decisions is required.

    Experience in utilizing automated loan-servicing systems is required.
  • BKFS (Black Knight/MSP) skills and knowledge gained through practical experience is required. Knowledge of Sagent (FiServ/LoanServ) is a benefit
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, priority work environment.
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to make sound judgement loan decisions on mortgage issues is required.


Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.

Travel

Ability to travel to various worksites and be on-call is required.
