- Home Care Aides provide non medical service and assistance to a client in their home and communities, who, because of advanced age or physical or mental disability, cannot perform these services. These services enable the client to remain in his or her residence and include, but are not limited to, assistance with the following: bathing, dressing, feeding, exercising, personal hygiene and grooming, transferring, ambulating, positioning, toileting and incontinence care, assisting with medication that the client self-administers, housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, laundry, transportation, correspondence, making telephone calls, shopping for personal care items or groceries, and companionship.
- Home Care Aides are responsible for ensuring that service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant Agency policies, industry standards, and state regulations.
- Looking for open availability from 8 a.m. – 11 p.m. Not stating you’ll be working those complete times, those are the hours to be filled in between.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Qualifications include:
- 18 years of age or older;
- Current drivers’ license;
- Valid vehicle insurance coverage;
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes. * Provide assistance with personal care. * Assist with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises. * Handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding. * Properly manage household needs. * Provide companionship and respite services for the family. * Previous experience as a Caregiver in homes or senior communities is a bonus.
(Assist with the activities of daily living and personal care including):
– bathing – shaving – ambulation
– mouth care – dressing – exercise
– hair care – feeding – toileting
– nail care – positioning – medication reminding
– skin care – transferring/ (lift assists)
- Ensure client’s safety and security by supervising the home environment.
- Teach/perform meal planning and preparation and serving client,
- Routine housekeeping activities such as making/changing beds, dusting, vacuuming, washing floors, cleaning kitchen and bathroom, and laundry.
- Provide companionship including social interactions, conversations, emotional reassurance, and encouragement of activities that stimulate the mind.
- Provides respite care for families in accordance with care plans.
