Corewood Care is seeking a positive and cheerful Caregiver to provide our clients’ with in-home care and assist them with activities of daily living under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) in Montgomery County, Maryland. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A CAREGIVER / GNA / CNA

As a Caregiver / Home Care Worker, you follow the plan of care set up by the RN and support your elderly clients by providing medication reminders and assisting with personal care and hygiene, preparing meals, light housekeeping, errands and appointments. Your eye for detail assists you as you observe and report any safety hazards found in the client’s home and any changes in the clients mental, physical, or emotional condition.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 18 years old
  • Valid and current GNA or CNA license in the state of Maryland
  • Current first aid and CPR certification
  • Minimum of one-year experience in a GNA, CNA, or caregiver position
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • If driving, reliable transportation with current insurance
  • Proof of negative PPD test (chest X-ray if PPD was positive)
  • Documentation of a complete physical exam done in the last 12 months
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
