LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Corrections – SCI Camp Hill (Camp Hill, PA) – QPCS – Camp Hill, PA

Quality Patient Centered Services (QPCS) is URGENTLY seeking energetic and self motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPNs) to provide services as permitted within the scope of practice for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPNs) in accordance with Institution/Facility policies and procedures.

Candidates will be utilized to assist with facility duties while helping with the State Correctional Institution at SCI Camp Hill, Camp Hill, PA

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completion of a professional nursing program
  • Unrestricted registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Pennsylvania
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to be certified prior to starting)
  • Current PPD/Chest X Ray/T-SPOT (or ability to obtain prior to starting)
  • Must be able to pass a background check needed to work in a state facility

SCHEDULE:

  • Full time hours
  • 8 hour shift
  • Evening shift
  • Night shift
  • Weekdays/Rotating weekends

LPN Rate: $40/hour flat rate

This posting is for an hourly contract position and is non-benefits eligible

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience as a License Practical Nurse in a Correctional Facility or Emergency Room
  • Experience involving mental or chemical health assessments
  • Prior experience using Electronic Health Records (EMR)

  • Demonstrates ability to handle difficult and behaviorally challenged persons and remain calm in tense or potentially threatening situations.
