Telephone Operator – Seattle Childrens Hospital – Seattle, WA

Efficiently, accurately, and respectfully process incoming requests (primarily via phone) and initiate crisis code procedures for all hospital emergencies. Maintain and interpret call schedules and track telecom equipment using multiple software applications with superlative customer service skills. Concisely describe appropriate and effective information to callers based on caller inquiries.

Required Education/Experience: – High School graduate or equivalent. – Basic computer skills. – Previous experience answering high volume telephone lines. – Previous work or volunteer experience interacting with the public in a customer service capacity. Preferred: – An Associates Degree or higher. – Prior hospital experience.
