Desktop Support Supervisor – Master Electronics – Phoenix, AZ

Master Electronics has an exciting career opportunity for a Desktop Support Supervisor in our Phoenix, Arizona location. The Information Services (IS) department provides technical support to all Master Electronics family of brands across the United States, Canada, EMEA, and APAC.

As such, this position is ideal for an individual who is both technically savvy and customer centric. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail is essential.

How you will spend your time as a Desktop Support Supervisor:

  • Leading and mentoring a small team of Phoenix-based Desktop Support Technicians responsible for enterprise wide first-level support either in person or via remote assist tools
  • Creating and maintaining a culture of service that places our internal customers first
  • Ensuring Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), Service Level, and other metrics meet or exceed operational expectation
  • Collaborating with end users, programmers, and functional managers to troubleshoot and document issues
  • Ensuring documentation is up to date for tools, best practices, and end user self service
  • Managing the Change Management lifecycle as it relates to the Information Services department
  • Proactively recognizing opportunities to positively impact the end user experience through technology
  • Providing administration of business tools such as File Shares, Anti-Virus, Patch Management, Office 365, Service Desk Ticketing, etc.
  • Preparing and delivering IS related communications
  • Procuring and tracking technology equipment for the enterprise
  • Providing escalated support, including off-hours as needed, for critical business applications
  • Other duties as assigned

We’re excited if you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, Information Technology, or a similar related discipline and/or 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • 3 + years of leadership experience in an enterprise global service desk operation
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes
  • Proven experience supporting automated tools, workflows, monitoring/alerting, and end-user self-service documentation
  • Prior experience providing Change Management for technology related projects on an enterprise scale
  • Dynamic troubleshooting skills for a range of technical issues from new hire setups to complex ERP/warehouse issues.
  • Prior experience with systems such as Samanage, Zoom, Office 365, SharePoint, Azure, ProvideX, or PxPlus applications is a plus
