What we are Looking For
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified maintenance technician who shares our vision of excellent customer service and professionalism to join our team at one of our many properties located throughout the Tri-County area.
The right candidate will assist the Maintenance Supervisor in the daily maintenance operations which include service requests, apartment turnover and grounds.
What You Will Be Doing
- Clean and prepare apartments for new residents
- Meet service request deadlines
- Ensure the quality and quantity of work; always maintaining high standards
- Monitor inventory of the commonly used parts and supplies to ensure adequate stock
- Assist with snow/ice removal, as required
- Administer other grounds maintenance activities as required
- Always conduct yourself in a professional manner as a Kaftan Communities representative, demonstrating sound judgement and conduct
What You Will Need to Have
- 3-5 years of property maintenance experience required
- Knowledge of mechanical systems such as water heaters, furnaces, and air conditioning units
- General plumbing and electrical experience
- Have your own tools and transportation
- HVAC Certifications strongly preferred
- EPA Certifications strongly preferred
- Ability to lift at least 80 pounds
- Valid Driver’s License
