Job Description
Summary
Medical Assistants provide clinical and clerical support to healthcare professionals to deliver quality of care to our patients. Medical Assistants perform a variety of clinical and clerical tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to care team
- Prepare patient for provider, collect medical history, and take vitals
- Document patient visits and complete referrals
- Perform clerical tasks such as answer patient calls, monitor in-basket, and generate reports
- Scheduling appointments
- Includes other duties as assigned
*$1,500 SIGN ON BONUS*
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent Required
- Successful completion of a competency based orientation program Required
- Medical Assistant, Certified (CMA) by American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) 120 Days Required Or Registered (RMA) by the American Medical Technologists (AMT) 120 Days Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) 120 Days Required
