The Role

Assembly of portable compressed air and electrical generator products using available tools and in accordance with established work instructions

• Assemble portable air, compressed air and electrical generator products, including both mechanical and electrical assembly

• Perform complicated or repetitive operations with limited supervision or direction

• Instruct and train other assemblers

• Lead assembly process for production prototype units

• Diagnose and troubleshoot portable units

• Identify and implement process improvements

• Demonstrate a high attention to detail

• Maintain a high level of quality

• Inspect parts at all stages of processing, deciding whether or not the parts conform to visual, dimensional and functional specifications

• Promote and practice proper safety procedures at all times

• Maintain the cleanliness of the plant, including sweeping, recycling, and trash removal

• Perform other duties as assigned

What we expect of you?

• The successful candidate has a High School Diploma with some technical school training (or equivalent wok experience)

• The successful candidate has 1-3 years of prior relevant assembly experience within a manufacturing facility

• Must have strong mechanical and electrical skills and the ability to read and understand blueprints, schematic, and work instructions

• Must also be able to work independently

• Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills

• Willing to work regular and some overtime hours, as required to meet business needs

• Individual and team interaction skills

• Excellent time management skills

• Proven ability to achieve results
