No Place Like Home Health is currently seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aid (CHHA) to join our team!
MUST HAVE VALID CURRENT CERTIFICATION TO BE CONSIDERED FOR POSITION!
Several positions are available between set hours and per visit rates weekly. Can combine for multiple clients/patients!
Position available immediately – serious applicants only!
- LOCATIONS: Flushing area
- Set Schedule – Day shifts, flexible scheduling
- Per Visit – Flexible days/times within set work week
1-2 years of HOME CARE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!!!
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide care outlined in the patient care plan and under the direction of nursing staff
- Transfer Clients
- Assists with ADL’s (bathing, toileting, dressing, etc…)
- Assist with IADL’s (meal preparation, light housekeeping, etc…)
- Provide companionship to patients
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment
Qualifications and Skills
- One (1) year of patient care experience in a home health care setting; hospice experience and working with Alzheimer and/or Dementia clients highly preferred
- Must demonstrate the ability and willingness to build a positive rapport with our patients
- Must be compassionate and caring
- Must have a working knowledge of medical terminology
- Must have your own reliable transportation and valid MI drivers license
- Negative TB Skin Test or Negative Chest X-Ray
- CPR Certification
