What does a Capability Improvement Administrator do at Swire Coca-Cola?

Swire Coca-Cola, USA is committed to building a World Class Supply Chain by adopting and/or developing “Best in Class” Continuous Improvement practices throughout our North American Supply Chain Operations. To accelerate our journey to World Class, we are seeking a Capability Improvement Administrator. In this role, the successful candidate will report to the Continuous Improvement Manager. This candidate will also partner with the facility leadership team, and the Regional Continuous Improvement Manager to enhance and/or improve the capabilities and development of the local Supply Chain Operations team. The incumbent in this role is responsible for the identification of training gaps, training content development and its associated administration, as well as verification of knowledge transfer through assessments, the adoption of best practices and identification of current training systems.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Develop and administer a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Administer plant employee onboarding and development programs
  • Maintain the LMS to ensure actions are developed to close any identified gaps through proper training, i.e. management of shortage reports
  • Create training procedures in various mediums (video, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) to enable individuals to correctly perform tasks
  • Coordinate supplemental training as needed based upon department needs
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training and development programs using data and KPIs to revise or recommend changes in instruction or delivery methods
  • Ensure the LMS reflects current processes and complies with auditing requirements
  • Participate in audits to support compliance
  • Special projects as needed

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED; Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a Supply Chain Operations environment
  • Experience in building and maintaining a Learning Management System
  • Ability to coach and certify trainers
  • Project management understanding and experience
  • Collaborative teamwork experience
  • Quality/Safety/Food Safety knowledge preferred
  • Direct experience with the development and implementation of functional training
  • Excels in collaborative teamwork
  • Strong interpersonal skills to coach and train at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent writing skills – ability to write both technical training and compose written communication effectively
