Front Desk Receptionist – Rockford Pain Management – Rockford, IL

Rockford Pain Management is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist that is an energetic, team orientated individual with excellent communication skills to join our growing practice. Duties include but are not limited to, greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling patients, and rooming patients. We have an exciting and challenging full-time position available with a competitive wage. The Front Desk Receptionist is a major part of the “personality” of our office and gives both the initial and final impressions that our patients have. This individual will need to be someone who goes above and beyond by assisting us in providing the best possible care for them, every visit.

Will need the ability to work specific hours (Monday-Thursday: 7:45am-6:30pm, Friday: 7:45am-1:30pm) and be available to work additional hours when necessary.

Basic clerical skills required.

Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities and have excellent time management and organizational skills and be able to meet deadlines.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Answers telephone before the third ring and either responds to inquiry or directs caller to appropriate personnel.

Effective communication and interaction with employers, patients, providers, managers and other colleagues

Registers new patients into the EHR and scheduling system. Verify existing patient’s information is updated and accurate.

Assists patients as needed. ·

Evaluates insurance requirements, insurance coverage, payment agreements, referrals and basic chart information.

Collects payment from patients and reconciles daily cash reports. ·

Monitor, clean and attend to patient waiting room.

Performs other duties as assigned.

1 year of customer service experience required

1 year of clerical experience in a medical office preferred

Experience in an office environment, answering phones and clerical work.

Minimum requirement of high school diploma or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 – $15.00 per hour
